COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

  • Drop off: No parents are allowed past the outside front doors.
  • Please do not show up more than 10 minutes early for a class.  Students will not be allowed to wait inside before that time.
  • A staff member will meet each child at the breezeway.  They must have the signed waiver and health check questionnaire with them.  Health check questionnaire must be filled out every time the student comes to class.
  • PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO CLASS IF THEY HAVE ANY SIGNS OF ILLNESS SUCH AS SNEEZING, COUGH, FEVER, RUNNY NOSE, OR STOMACH ISSUES.  THEY MUST BE KEPT AT HOME.
  • A staff member will do a no- contact temperature check and record.  Teachers and staff will have the same done as well.  
  • All students will sanitize their hands prior to entering the lobby area. 
  • Face masks will be worn by ALL teachers, staff, and students into the building, during class, and exiting the building.  
  • All students must bring their own water bottle with their name on it and must be kept in a bag.  No food will be allowed into the studio.
  • Both doors from the outside will be kept open for air circulation purposes.
  • If a class is scheduled in Room A, students in that class will enter and exit through that door only and use the bathroom on that side as well.  Likewise, if class is being held in Room C, the student will enter from the entrance at Room C and use the corresponding bathroom as well.  Room B will only use the bathroom on the corresponding side.
  • Class size will be limited based on guidelines projected for the start of classes in September and will be social distanced accordingly.
  • Please have students dressed and ready for their class before they arrive.  Our dressing area will be off limits and there will be no changing in the bathrooms.  
  • Students will be directed to enter and exit the studio at 6 feet distance.  They will wait for their class on a marker at 6 feet distance from each other.  
  • If student has a jazz, Acro, or ballet class requiring extensive floor stretching, please send them with a towel.  
  • Please have student use the bathroom before they come to to the studio.  If it is an emergency, they will be allowed to use the bathroom during class however, we are trying to keep the traffic in and out of the classrooms to a minimum.  Students will be advised to wash their hands before leaving the bathroom.
  • In between classes that change students, there will be time allotted for sanitizing and wiping down the studio.  All class rooms, bathrooms, common space, fixtures and floors will be cleaned and sanitized at the end of the night as well.  A professional crew will be in weekly.
  • Barres and mats will also be sanitized after each use.
  • Dance bags will be allowed in the studio.  If a student has a cell phone, they Must keep it in the car or in a plastic bag in their dance bag.  They may not be used inside the premises at all. 
  • Parents will not be allowed in at the time of pick up.  Teachers/Staff will walk students outside upon pick up to their car.  PLEASE BE ON TIME.
